Ettore Germano

Ettore Germano is a historic winery producing white, red and sparkling wines with an elegant, distinctive and sustainable style in Serralunga d’Alba, in the heart of the Langhe.

The Ettore Germano estate is deeply rooted in the Cerretta area of Serralunga d’Alba, where the family has been cultivating vineyards since 1856 and is now in its fifth generation. Under the leadership of Sergio Germano, the winery promotes the historic Barolo crus – Cerretta, Prapò, Lazzarito and Vignarionda – alongside a range of native and international grape varieties. Over the years, Ettore Germano has expanded its vision to the Alta Langa area, specifically in Cigliè, where it cultivates 13 hectares of Riesling Renano, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Nascetta. These grapes are used to make both still white wines and Alta Langa Metodo Classico sparkling wines. The estate is entirely family-run: Sergio and Elena, with the help of their children, oversee every stage of production, from vineyard to cellar, and also hospitality. The approach is artisanal, sustainable and focused on expressive finesse,  aiming to convey the character of the territory and the gastronomic potential of Piedmontese wines in every bottle.
