Castello di Razzano

Castello di Razzano is a historic wine estate in Monferrato. The 17th-century castle that houses the winery is also home to a fascinating Museum of Rural and Wine History and offers the chance to taste wines, olive oil and local products in its atmospheric underground cellars.

Established in the early 20th century by the Olearo family, Castello di Razzano is now an elegant wine estate nestled among the gently rolling Monferrato hills. The 17th-century castle has historic cellars dating back to 1697 which are still used today for ageing the wines produced from the estate’s vineyards, which include Barbera, Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. The journey through wine and culture continues with the evocative ArteVino Museum – Museum of Rural and Wine History, along with dedicated tasting rooms. The experience is completed by a charming relais with 13 rooms and suites, a panoramic swimming pool and a gourmet restaurant serving Piedmontese cuisine, all of which offer refined hospitality that brings together nature, art and wine culture.
