The Hotel Somaschi - Monastero di Cherasco is located in the old town of Cherasco, in an excellent location for visiting the hills of the Langhe and Roero. Built at the beginning of the 18th century, careful restoration work has transformed it into a luxurious hotel, with attention to every detail to offer guests an unforgettable and unique stay. The atmosphere here is that of a historic residence of days gone by, which became the seat of the order of the Somaschi Fathers in the 19th century and, still preserving the original frescoes and stuccoes of the period, has been used for hospitality since the mid-20th century. What was once the theatre now houses the restaurant, run by chef Fabio Sala, where breakfast is also served.

The hotel's 27 rooms are divided into different types: Classic rooms with their essential and elegant furnishings, Deluxe rooms with black marble bathrooms, Junior Suites decorated to the tastes of great Italian designers, and the Suite Degli Stucchi with its distinctive four-poster bed and ceiling with original 18th-century stuccoes. The spacious interiors and large rooms with ceilings up to seven metres high make this hotel perfect for hosting both corporate and private events, such as training courses, conferences and weddings.
