A lush, wooded park with oaks and wild maples surrounds the 18th-century home of Maria and Matteo, who greet guests with a friendly welcome. The upper floor has a large room overlooking the garden, while the ground floor features a charming breakfast room.
The surprise is protected by the woods: a silent path, which can be travelled on foot or with a small electric golf cart, leads to two fairy-tale treehouses, spaced well apart to create an absolute sensation of being at one with nature. One built on a toulipier and the other on an oak, they are made of untreated wood, observing the criteria of green building, in perfect harmony with the environment and with the trunk that embraces them. In fine weather, the dream continues with a rich and fragrant breakfast served in pretty baskets directly among the foliage, on the terraces of the treehouses.
The smell of wood, embroidered curtains matching the bedspreads and cushions, decorated jugs, fabric pictures and birdhouses scattered throughout the park, are the details that lend charm and romanticism to a B&B just waiting to be discovered.
