Le Querce del Vareglio is a country guesthouse with swimming pool, stables and a meeting room, immersed in the naturalistic area of the Parco delle Rocche, in Canale, a bustling town in the heart of the Roero.

Set in the wonderful setting of the Parco delle Rocche del Roero, on a 35-hectare estate that comprises fields and vineyards, age-old oaks and fragrant orchards, Le Querce Del Vareglio has 14 rooms with furnishings characterised by simple style and soft colours. The old country house dates back to the 18th century and has preserved its original architecture and charm to this day. Recent renovation work has made it possible to unite environmental sustainability, thanks to the use of renewable energy, with modern elegance and refinement, making the structure a charming retreat perfectly suspended between past, present and future. The warm and welcoming atmosphere makes the guesthouse ideal for holidays dedicated to exclusive experiences: from exhilarating picnics in the woods to intimate aperitifs in the garden, from the art of beekeeping to scenic e-bike tours.


Those who love nature and animals will have the opportunity to admire the splendid geometries of the vineyards, go horse-riding or taste the wines produced by the Povero family, owners of the Winery of the same name and of the structure itself. To complete the experience, the agriturismo’s restaurant welcomes guests for lunches that enhance the flavors of the Roero and Langhe through local ingredients, produce from the estate’s vegetable garden and orchard, and its own estate-produced wines. The frescoed ceilings transform the large, bright and evocative breakfast room into a charming setting for a rich selection of local delicacies from the Langhe and Roero, as well as an ideal place to host banquets and corporate events. The range of facilities is completed by the large swimming pool, for refreshing dips under the sun on beautiful summer days, and the fully equipped meeting room, suitable for conferences and business meetings.
