Antico Podere Propano is a historical residence that has been transformed into a three-star hotel, located in the countryside surrounding Saluzzo, just a ten-minute walk from the town centre.

The history of this residence dates back to 1525, when the Marquis of Saluzzo donated it to the Carthusian monks of Mombracco. Following several changes in ownership and extensive restoration in 2006, the spaces which originally housed the granary, barn and farmhouse are now occupied by the hotel’s 30 charming rooms. In the silence of the countryside, among green meadows set against the backdrop of the mountains, the atmosphere at Antico Podere Propano evokes that of a traditional agricultural farmhouse from bygone times.

The building is square in shape, with a large internal courtyard that is ideal for hosting performances, banquets and vintage car rallies. The hotel also has a large rooms that can be used for conferences, and a more intimate space, perfect for tasting the finest Piedmontese food and wines.

Whether visiting for business or pleasure, Antico Podere Propano welcomes its guests into a noble residence characterised by antique charm, just a short distance from Saluzzo and less than an hour's drive from Alba.
