This mecca for gourmands is a historic haven which has undergone a slow transformation while keeping intact the values and premium produce of the local area. To be savoured in the rooms with exposed-brick vaulted ceilings are the recipes of chef Gian Piero Vivalda, proud holder of two Michelin stars, Grand Chef Relais&Châteaux and rewarded by the Espresso guide with a score of 18.5/20, who is assisted by his father Renzo. The vegetable garden and seating outside cater for enjoying sublime dishes in summer too in a lovely setting. Autumn meanwhile features traditional dishes garnished with White Truffle of Alba.
