Guido Da Costigliole
In 1961 Guido Alciati and his wife Lidia opened a restaurant in Costigliole d'Asti. One of the area’s “star” restaurants, since July 2002 it has been housed in Relais San Maurizio, in the historic wine cellars of a former monastery which have been returned to their original splendour, preserving the exposed brick, barrel-vaulted ceilings and mighty outer walls. It is run by Chef Luca Zecchin, with Monica Magnini and Andrea Alciati front of house. Stored in its two cellars are around 35000 bottles. Original “Bring your own bottle and truffle” formula.
