Nestled within the grounds of La Madernassa, in Guarene, among the gently rolling hills of the Roero, PICO is an Italian bistro, where food is all about warmth, sharing and identity.

Pico Bistrot in Guarene focuses on offering an authentic, convivial gastronomic experience, blending regional traditions with the finest ingredients to create dishes that surprise with their simplicity: just a few easily recognisable and indulgent elements, always prioritising flavour. Born from the collaboration between the D’Errico brothers, who run and curate the kitchen, and the Montanaro family, owners of Tartuflanghe, Pico offers a setting that is both refined and welcoming – with soft tones and meticulous attention to detail, from the décor to the table setting, echoing the surrounding landscape. The spacious outdoor area hosts Pico Pool & Bar, an open-air gourmet corner that’s perfect for savouring raw seafood platters, fresh seasonal dishes and signature cocktails by the pool in summer.

The menu curated by Giuseppe and Francesco D’Errico tells the story of their Campanian roots intertwined with the Piedmont region that has become their home. The star of the show is truffle, available all year round, with the type changing according to the season. Not just the prized white truffle (Tuber magnatum Pico), but also the various black truffle varieties offered by nature throughout the year. Each culinary experience is enhanced by an extensive and carefully curated wine list, featuring a selection of local, national and international labels.
