In La Morra, in the heart of the Langhe, “Marrone: Cantina con Cucina” delights every palate with cuisine and wines that tell the story of the Marrone family, from the vine to the bottle to the table.

In La Morra, immersed in the tranquillity of the Langhe hills, perfectly positioned for visiting the area’s hamlets and admiring its vineyards, lies the restaurant Marrone: Cantina con Cucina. The dining room, with its panoramic view of the hills, is on the upper floor of the ageing cellar where wines that tell the story of four generations of the Marrone family, from the founder  Pietro Marrone to his grandson Gian Piero with his wife Giovanna and their three daughters Denise, Serena and Valentina, who now lovingly carry on the family tradition, serving dishes that celebrate the richness of classic local recipes, are aged in wooden barrels.

The restaurant's menu includes the most typical Piedmontese dishes, such as battuta di fassona al coltello (steak tartare), tajarin al ragù (pasta with meat sauce), tagliatelle ai porcini (pasta with mushrooms) served with basil sauce, and guancia brasata al Barolo (beef cheek stewed in Barolo wine), and, for the perfect sweet end to every meal, bunet, a traditional dessert featuring chocolate and amaretti biscuits.

And after enjoying a meal at Marrone: Cantina con Cucina, visitors' can contemplate the vineyards of the Langhe, where authentic flavours and panoramic views come together to create an unforgettable experience.
