Ristorante Castellana, in the historic Monastery of San Giovanni in Saluzzo, serves typical Langa cuisine with the touch of Michelin-starred Chef Christian Milone, combining tradition and innovation.

Following the success of the prestigious Castellana Restaurant in Hong Kong, Ristorante Castellana opens in the old town of Saluzzo, inside the 15th-century Monastery of San Giovanni and connected to the San Giovanni Resort hotel. The restaurant's dining room evokes atmospheres charged with history and beauty, with its splendid brick barrel vaults, right underneath the splendid Church of San Giovanni: the perfect setting to prepare guests for a special experience, engaging all the senses, from sight to taste. 

Owner Matteo Morello's idea of opening a restaurant has become reality thanks to a solid collaboration with Chef Christian Milone, Michelin star holder since 2016. Refined, gourmet cuisine, permeated with passion and excellent quality ingredients, described as “a journey that stems from the roots and value of the territory”, is presented daily with commitment and love by the chef and his team with the tasting menu, which gives guests an all-round insight into the typical dishes of the Piedmontese territory and the region's great wines. For guests who so wish, the experience continues with a guided tour of the historic Gothic cloister of the church and the unique “Antico Refettorio dei Frati” conference and events room.
