Agriturismo La Pieve, with its ancient charm, is one of Dogliani's listed places of historical interest. The complex, which also includes the church building, boasts ancient origins dating back to the 7th century AD, which have been preserved and enhanced by careful renovation work. In this particular context, in addition to the seven rooms and the flat, there is also a restaurant which, with its delicious, traditional dishes, conveys the rustic and homely idea on which the whole structure was conceived.
Chef Giovanni begins with selected fresh ingredients straight from the family garden, including vegetables, the finest Nocciola Piemonte IGP delle Langhe hazelnuts and seasonal fruit, which is also used to prepare delicious jams, taking diners on a journey through traditional local dishes, presented at the table by the owner Enrica, who offers her guests a warm and courteous welcome. The perfect pairing for a good dish of “tajarin” is a glass of wine from grapes grown on the estate managed by her husband Alessandro, who is committed to organic farming and sustainability.
