Since 1912, Trattoria del Peso, a historic establishment in the small village of Belvedere Langhe, has stood atop the hills with its unmistakable charm of a "traditional trattoria."
Located at the entrance of Belvedere, in the Alta Langa region, Trattoria del Peso is deeply embedded in the social fabric of this picturesque village. For generations, the Schellino family has preserved the values and knowledge of tradition, seamlessly blending a grocery store—where visitors can find the finest local products—with an authentic trattoria experience. The heart and soul of the restaurant are brothers Mauro and Ezio, who serve typical Langhe cuisine and welcome guests into a rustic, homely atmosphere.
The trattoria is open for lunch every day except Saturday or by reservation. The fixed menu, offered in a simplified version during the week, expands on Sundays, transforming into a true celebration of local recipes, prepared with fresh, high-quality, and always locally sourced ingredients.
