In the historic center of Asti, the Osteria Il Podestà is located in the Palazzo del Podestà or Palazzo dei Notai, one of the most evocative medieval buildings in the city. The cross vaults, exposed bricks and keystones preserve the memory of the place, balancingly approaching the modern furnishings.
Bruno Violato, together with his staff, offers traditional Monferrato cuisine, rediscovering recipes from the past and creatively rereading them. Fresh pasta, Piedmontese Fassona, mixed fried food, hazelnuts, and seasonal ingredients make up a selection faithful to the region's roots, accompanied by an extensive wine list. During the warm season, dishes can also be enjoyed in the outdoor area.
