Il Cortiletto d’Alba, a traditional restaurant with rooms, tucked away in a quiet spot just a short walk from the centre of the capital of the Langhe.
The result of the careful renovation of a historical building, this intimate restaurant has just nine tables, ensuring an exclusive and welcoming dining experience. Meals are served in the charming, wine cellar with its exposed brick vaulted ceilings, moving outside into the inner courtyard in summer. The menu celebrates traditional Piedmontese cuisine, with a few modern twists, paired with the region’s finest wines. Truffles, white in autumn and black during the rest of the year, are weighed and served directly at the table.
The finest ingredients are used to create a carefully curated tasting menu, showcasing the best of Alba’s culinary heritage. Signature dishes include vitello tonnato, ravioli del plin, Fassone beef braised in Nebbiolo, and bönet, a characteristic local dessert.
