In the prestigious historical setting of what were once the royal stables of Pollenzo, today stands this restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The large garden courtyard bordered by a high portico ushers diners into the exposed brick column and vaulted ceiling dining area. The tasteful, understated furnishings and minimalist wooden and metal tables and chairs make for a classy ambiance in which the elegance of the surroundings is matched by sensitive, attentive service. In what used to be their grandparents’ farmhouse, the young Gian Battista and Alessia Asteggiano present a cuisine marked by simplicity and tradition, with a particular focus on the family-reared meat.
