Ristorante Leon D'Oro Secolare
Via Roma, 12 - 12043 Canale (CN)
Considered for three generations the classic temple of traditional Piedmontese cuisine, Leon D'Oro Secolare is a historic restaurant located in Canale, in the heart of the Roero region.
Beneath the arcades of Canale’s lively center, an elegant wooden entrance welcomes guests into the bar area before leading to the refined dining room, characterized by exposed brick arches. The classic decor warms the hearts of nostalgic diners and perfectly reflects the culinary expectations: to the sound of a piano, traditional dishes of the region are served, including fritto misto alla piemontese, homemade bread and pasta, veal cheek braised in Arneis wine, and hazelnut cake. The wine cellars safeguard some of the finest local labels.
Ilaria, the warm and welcoming host of Leon D'Oro Secolare’s third generation, greets loyal guests with dedication and charm, ensuring they enjoy the restaurant’s specialties with genuine hospitality and passion.
Authenticity, elegance, and a love for fine cuisine make this restaurant a stronghold of timeless Roero gastronomic tradition at the highest level.
