San Marco Ristorante is a historic establishment in Canelli offering gourmet dining in an elegant setting, where traditional recipes are constantly evolving.
Located in the heart of Canelli, San Marco Ristorante welcomes guests into a warm and intimate atmosphere. Staying true to the Monferrato region’s culinary heritage and its origins as an inn with stabling, the restaurant serves the finest traditional dishes, carefully prepared with fresh, high-quality local ingredients. In the dining room, classics such as handmade Tajarin, fonduta, finanziera, Bunet di Langa and hazelnut cake with zabaione al Moscato are served on beautifully set table. In the kitchen, Mariuccia Ferrero passionately revives ancient recipes, reinterpreting them with intuition and creativity, resulting in successful, original flavour pairings and visually stunning presentations.
The wine cellar, expertly curated by Pier Carlo Ferrero, boasts over 600 labels, including Canelli’s renowned sparkling wines, local vintages and a selection of fine Italian and international bottles. A cosy room set up as a wine bar provides the perfect setting for small group tastings, business lunches and private gatherings.
