In Montà, in the heart of Roero, Marcelin offers a surprising gastronomic experience, blending tradition and innovation.

Located on Montà’s main square, halfway between Alba and Turin, Marcelin occupies a space that once housed an artisan workshop. Here, Chef Thomas Balocco and his team creatively reinterpret classic Piedmontese cuisine, playing with textures and temperatures to craft unique flavours. Special attention is given to vegetables, freshly harvested from the restaurant’s own garden nearby. In the dining room, Angelo Valsania, maître and owner, guides guests through refined food and wine pairings, drawing from an extensive wine list.

Marcelin features several distinct spaces: the inviting main dining room, with wooden ceilings, large arched windows, and elegant materials; a more intimate room with a fireplace, perfect for private and special occasions; the terrace; the Sala Rossa, furnished with comfortable sofas, ideal for aperitifs, private events, and small meetings.

A gourmet restaurant where guests can be amazed by innovative dishes that strike a perfect balance between memories of the past and visions of the future - Marcelin is a true expression of culinary excellence.
