Standing amidst 35 hectares of vineyards on an estate which once belonged to the Counts of Roero, Tenuta Carretta has a relaxing atmosphere oozing with charm and warmth. The 21.9 Restaurant on the estate presents the culinary skills of Michelin-starred chef Flavio Costa, who recently arrived from the town of Albissola on the Ligurian coast. Full of land-sea influences, the cuisine is designed to bring out the best in the white wines of the Roero. The most highly-prized local varieties are vinified in the cellars which date back to the beginning of the XII century, and tours and guided tastings can be arranged.
