Il Centro, the Cordero family's Michelin-starred restaurant in Priocca, celebrates Piedmontese tradition with chef Elide Mollo, who revisits it with the utmost respect.
In the old town of Priocca, amidst the hills of the Roero, Il Centro has been synonymous with gastronomic excellence for over 60 years, to be savoured in a warm and welcoming ambience, with exposed brick ceilings and wooden floors. The kitchen is in the skilful hands of Michelin-starred chef Elide Mollo, who presents dishes with well-defined flavours that proudly evoke recipes from the past, renewed to bring out the best in them.
The house speciality is “fritto misto piemontese”, a pillar of tradition, served, according to tradition, piping hot, from the frying pan to the table.
The dining room is coordinated by Elide's husband, Enrico Cordero, and her son Giampiero, who convey their love of wine with passion and professionalism, as testified by the 600-plus labels housed in the restaurant's evocative wine cellar.
Adjacent to the restaurant, the charming relais Dimora Cordero offers six elegant and essential rooms, characterised by maximum comfort.
