Il Vigneto is an old farmhouse with restaurant, rooms, terrace and swimming pool in Roddi, a few kilometres from Alba, surrounded by the Langhe hills, a magical place to discover the traditional culinary art of the region.
Set in a panoramic position, in Roddi, in the Langhe, this peaceful corner awaits lovers of good food: Il Vigneto restaurant with rooms, run by the Allochis brothers, Rossano, in the dining room, and Manolo, the chef. The kitchen serves typical Piedmontese dishes, revisited with creative touches and prepared with the finest local products: hazelnuts, cheeses, Alba White Truffle... In spring and summer, the menu is enriched with seafood dishes. The wine cellar, created between the old walls of the farmhouse, offers a choice of the most renowned local and Italian wines and becomes the ideal space for evocative aperitifs.
The two dining rooms, with vaulted ceilings, and the terrace overlooking the vineyards and hazel groves and alternating brick structures with areas shaded by elegant gazebos, are the dream setting for romantic evenings and exclusive events.
Small meetings can be organised in the two reserved meeting rooms. Il Vigneto also offers accommodation in 6 spacious and comfortable rooms.
The creativity of Manolo and Rossano has led to the creation of the original serving platter known as the “Mesa Buta”, meaning half-bottle in Piedmontese dialect, precisely because it is shaped like a half-bottle, used to serve Barolo risotto.
Genuine products, fresh raw materials and ingredients linked to the territory are the principles of the cuisine at Il Vigneto, to be enjoyed seated comfortably on an enchanting terrace.
