Ristorante La Ciau Del Tornavento
Piazza Baracco, 7 12050 Treiso (CN)
In Treiso, in the Langhe, La Ciau del Tornavento is a Michelin-starred restaurant that offers innovative Piedmontese cuisine, panoramic views, a well-stocked wine cellar and comfortable accommodation.
Having moved to the Langhe for their love of great wines, Nadia Benech and Maurilio Garola created La Ciau del Tornavento, a Michelin-starred restaurant in the Barbaresco hills. Chef Maurilio, assisted by Marco Lombardo, serves traditional Piedmontese dishes with transalpine influences and some maritime elements. The kitchen garden dictates the seasonal variations in the menu. The furnishings are warm and refined, and the spacious dining room is framed by a window that draws the gaze to the terraced garden and the surrounding landscape. 4 charming rooms welcome guests who wish to stay longer.
The wine cellar holds more than 65,000 bottles from 450 producers, around 5,400 labels from 13 countries, half of which are dedicated to Barolo and Barbaresco: the resulting wine list is among the most comprehensive in Italy.
The restaurant has concocted tasty and colourful dishes for children, and there is also a special menu reserved for your four-legged friends.
A romantic aperitif in the garden, dishes that trigger sensory emotions, after-dinner drinks savoured in the superb wine cellar... precious moments and details for memories to collect and cherish.
Tasting menu from € 90,00 wines and truffles excluded
