Located in Monforte d'Alba, nestled in the famous hills of the Langa where Barolo is made, Ristorante FRE is a precious gem set in the Réva Resort, with rooms, Spa and swimming pool. Awarded one Michelin star every year since 2020, the restaurant also received the Michelin Guide’s Passion Dessert distinction in 2024, celebrating the artistry of its dessert creations. FRE means “blacksmith” in the Piedmontese dialect - a name that evokes the creative fire at the heart of its kitchen. Here, dishes are designed not only to nourish, but also to stir the emotions and delight the palate.
Every dish bears the signature of Chef Francesco Marchese, who works alongside his team to carefully select the finest ingredients before combining them with skill and creativity. The menus change with the seasons and are thoughtfully paired with outstanding local wines, in harmony with the rhythms of nature.
