in the Langhe Monferrato Roero hills
Langhe Experience - Personal Travel AdvisorIn the heart of the rolling hills of Langhe, Monferrato and Roero, a project is born that places human connections, sustainability and local identity at its core: Local Greeters Langhe Experience.
An initiative that brings together hospitality professionals, producers, artisans and local citizens in the creation of a widespread network of genuine, heartfelt hospitality — where every encounter becomes a story, and every visitor can feel, even just for a day, part of the local community.
The Local Greeters are trained volunteers ready to welcome guests with a smile as they arrive in the small villages, sharing authentic anecdotes about the area, its history, and offering valuable tips for exploring the surroundings on foot or by bike.
Those wishing to discover a vineyard trail, a lesser-known scenic route or an easy walk for everyone can receive local suggestions, born from direct experience.
The project promotes a slow, sustainable and respectful way of travelling, also encouraging the use of local public transport to reach the villages and move mindfully among the hills.
Becoming a Greeter means welcoming from the heart, sharing your land with passion and helping, day by day, to build a kind of tourism made of emotions, encounters and memories.
