Langhe Experience - Personal Travel AdvisorIn 2022, we launched an important journey of analysis and strategic vision focused on the sustainability of the Langhe Monferrato Roero destination. From this work, our Practical Guide to Sustainability was born — a concrete tool designed for our selected partners, the result of collaboration with Teamwork Hospitality and the input of internationally recognised experts.
This project is shaped around a simple yet powerful principle: doing our job well, with respect for the place we live in and for future generations. We are committed to building a tourism destination capable of welcoming mindful, responsible travellers — those who recognise the true value of the area and contribute meaningfully to the community that hosts them.
Our sustainability guidelines
Our operational manual offers best practices for tourism businesses, applicable across three key areas:
- Environmental sustainability: energy and water management, waste and plastic reduction, sustainable mobility, tackling food waste.
- Social sustainability: inclusiveness, enhancement of the local community, accessibility, guest education and engagement.
- Economic sustainability: short supply chains, local craftsmanship, quality-driven offerings, collaboration among local operators.
Why do we do this?
