In Magliano Alfieri, overlooking the Roero hills, the Alfieri Food Stories pasta company enriches tables with traditional Piedmontese products.
Since the 1970s, in the village of Magliano Alfieri, in the Roero hills, the Alfieri Food Stories pasta company has been tantalising the senses and the palate through the rediscovery of the ancient traditions of handmade pasta, handed down from generation to generation. Thanks to the precious collaboration with local producers, recipes steeped in authenticity are created with locally produced, fresh and genuine ingredients.
Careful selection of the ingredients is followed by the production phase, in which the pasta is dried using steam ovens, evoking the same sensations as when it was left to dry in the sun. A few steps away from the production plant, which is open to visitors, is the shop. Here flavours come to life, with the possibility to taste the specialities produced from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., choosing between an aperitif and a light lunch formula. Products range from classic tajarin to local cheeses, characteristic filled pasta, from ravioli to agnolotti del plin, and from typical Southern Piedmont condiments to desserts, such as the traditional hazelnut cake and delicious fruit jams. Some products are also available in gluten-free versions.
