In Alba, the Altalanga Agricultural Company brings its prized hazelnuts to the city for an interesting guided tour of the laboratory and a delicious tasting.
The Altalanga hazelnut grove is located in Cerretto Langhe, in a natural landscape of great charm, about 20 km south of Alba. The production philosophy of the company is based on respect for the earth and its natural cycles. Tradition and innovation are the two cornerstones: the wisdom of an ancient craft of dedication and sacrifice is enriched with modern technologies to achieve the goal of the highest quality, guaranteed by the organic method, which ensures taste, but also food safety and well-being.
The Alba workshop is carrying out a meticulous artisanal process that transforms the prized Piemonte PGI hazelnut from the Langhe, considered the best in the world, into excellent, healthy, and tasty products, such as toasted hazelnuts, pralines, spreadable cream, ice cream paste, nougat, cakes “brut&bon”, and sweet truffles.
