Barbero Confetteria dal 1881
This historic pastry shop with an elegant Liberty-style interior first opened its doors onto the porticoes of the centre of Cherasco in 1881.
Unquestionably the stars of its centenarian history are the “Baci di Cherasco” (Cherasco kisses) invented by Marco Barbero to use up the hazelnut fragments that remained on the chopping board after the preparation of nougat. Today visitors are delighted by 25 different flavours of pralines, all well-worth tasting to discover the delicate equilibriums in blends of cocoa.
