In autumn, the Marolo Distillery creates refined varietal grappas by slowly distilling the marc of the most highly-prized grapes grown on Langhe hills.
Pot stills draw out all the qualities of the skins and seeds, and visitors can relish aromas, textures and flavours while observing the preparation of aqua vitae to savour at the end of a meal.
The grappas of Barolo and Moscato, the pick of the production, are matured in oak and acacia.
