Langhe Experience - Personal Travel AdvisorIn the heart of the UNESCO Barolo hills, when autumn paints the vineyards in gold and crimson and the air is filled with the scent of the precious Alba White Truffle, you will have the chance to take part in a unique event: an authentic medieval dinner in period costume, set in the enchanting Grinzane Cavour Castle.
You will be welcomed as a noble guest of the Lord of the Castle, in an evening that blends historical charm, theatrical hospitality and haute cuisine.
The experience includes:
- Dressing ritual curated by the Masters of the Borgo Albese San Lorenzo (Borough of Alba), with seamstresses, hairdressers, and makeup artists transforming each guest into a lady or knight with period garments and accessories.
- Welcome at the Castle by the Grand Ceremonial Master and the historical procession: torches, musicians, drummers, ladies, and flag bearers will enliven the arrival in the Main Courtyard.
- Hand-washing ceremony, following noble tradition, with aromatic waters and scented oils.
- Scenic dinner in the prestigious Castle Restaurant Hall, exclusively privatized, featuring a 4-course menu dedicated to the Alba White Truffle, in a refined balance of tradition, innovation, and creativity, paired with great Langhe wines presented by an expert sommelier.
- Period entertainment during dinner: dancers, jugglers, musicians, and court jesters, with historical storytelling in Italian and English.
- Professional photo service to capture every moment of the evening.
